What is a 'core system'? Our core processing system, also known as a core system, is the software that manages our major banking functions. These functions include:
- opening and managing accounts
- maintaining account holder information
- processing cash deposits and withdrawals
- processing transactions
- plus much more…
Why a new core? To accommodate growth, a new core system will allow us to offer you more capabilities while enhancing our services and efficiency. We are committed to offering our customers the most convenient and secure banking experience possible, and this investment in technology allows us to fulfill that commitment today and into the future!
~Important Information Below~
Our system will transition end-of-day on April 9th, meaning we should be completely up
and running with the new system on April 10th. While the conversion will mostly be
happening behind the scenes, there may be times when it may affect some of the
services you use; this will be minimal, and you may not notice any disruption at all.
HOURS
We will have normal business hours during this core conversion.
NOTE: All drive-through locations will close at 4:30 PM on Thursday, April 9th
STATEMENTS
Our bank statements will have an enhanced new look after the upgrade,
but the information contained will remain the same.
- Statements will cut on 4/9 and will process correspondingly thereafter:
- Personal statements = 8th of the month
- Business statements = end-of-month
- Mailed statements include images and will have a standard fee of:
- Personal = $5/statement
- Business = $10/statement
- If you currently have e-statements or choose to switch to e-statements, there’s no fee.
- We ask that you download your e-statement history (via your existing online banking) prior to 4/9 if you wish to keep that information.
DEBIT CARDS/ATMS
Our cards and system are getting a facelift!
- Keep using your current cards as normal.
- Your current card won’t change until your card expires.
- There may be temporary debit card and ATM downtime from 3:00 PM on 4/9 until the morning of 4/13, with offline limits of $200.00.
Although we expect this conversion to go without a glitch,
we do ask that you be prepared for the weekend should the unexpected occur.
It is always good to have a secondary form of payment.
